Hello @Anilreddy ,
Jump Clients should pull the update automatically if it can reach the appliance. Once your Appliance has been upgraded, the next time the clients reach out to the appliance, they pull the update (This is dependent on the client having permissions to do this as well.) Here is a link to our Jump Clients User Guide: JUMP CLIENTS GUIDE, it walks you through deployment, it also lists jump client count information. Here is a link to our PRA Cloud Admin Guide: PRIVILEGED REMOTE ACCESS CLOUD FOR ADMINS USER GUIDE. I hope this helps!
Hi Anil, thanks for submitting your questions.
1.How do we update Jump Clients remotely.
A - Jump clients are upgraded when your appliance software version is upgraded. You do have the option to configure automatice upgrades of jump clients when upgrading the appliance.
2.if there is another version of jump client, Customer will have to re-install it manually?
A - If the deployed jump client can resolve back to the appliance, that client will always be on the same version as the applaince software version.
3.can you please clarify if we have limit of Jump clients to be assigned to our tenant. I think for non-PRA cloud there is a limit of concurrent sessions. Can you please clarify if we will hit any limits here. Thanks
A - PRA deployments do have a client subscritpion limit and without knowing your deployment instance name, I am unable to tell you what that limit is.
