Classic PAM solutions weren’t built for today’s hybrid and cloud-first environments. More applications, identities, and entitlements mean more risk, and legacy tools simply can’t keep up.Security teams struggle with fragmented visibility, unable to trace identity-based risks across environments. Static access models lead to excessive privileges, where 99% of assigned permissions go unused—creating unnecessary attack surfaces. Access workflows are often riddled with multi-hop VPNs, credential sprawl, and manual approvals that slow users down while increasing risk. Privileged access has expanded far beyond IT admins- sensitive assets now live across virtual machines, cloud platforms, developer tools, databases, and SaaS apps.👉That means securing human and machine identities now requires coverage across both classic on-prem systems and modern cloud-native services. Hello BeeKeepers Community, We wanted to provide an explanation for the bulk product updates posts you may have noticed today. This is a result of us moving to a new platform for hosting our product documentation as well as having to rework our product updates post automation to work with the new platform. Moving forward, release notes will be posted as they become available. We apologize for any possible confusion this may have caused. - Community Moderators

Welcome to the BeyondTrust BeeKeepers Community! The name BeeKeepers was born from the idea to protect and secure privileged identities, along with the paths those identities follow in order to gain privilege, aka Paths to Privilege. What does the BeeKeepers name mean to us?Imagine a company’s data and secrets as the honey in a beehive. BeeKeepers take care of the hive, protecting the honey and honeybees, from predators the live to steal the honey, damaging and destroying the hive. Now imagine you, BeyondTrust customers, IT Admins, SOC professionals, and CISOs are the BeeKeepers! And honeybees are identities – human and non-human – continuously travelling along their flight paths, the Paths to Privilege, collecting pollen and making more honey. BeeKeepers protect the honeybees’ path and continuously defend the hive from predators like individual and nation-state threat actors. Regards, Brett TheissChief Marketing Officer
