Initial Pairing Configuration
Setting up the pairing takes a few steps.
Test sequence was reset
Test heartbeat communication passed
Test file transfer from Active to Passive failed. TEST FAILED - Error occurred during test steps: Doing ensure file doesn''t exist on target... "" ERROR on test: sending file to remote system The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:01:00. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. ERROR on test setup: trying to get file from remote system The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:01:00. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.  This error is coming when configuring active and passive HA configuration on vmware workstation. Please help me. I am trying so much but unable to troubleshoot.

You can refer to this KB article but VMWare Workstation is not a supported platform.

Hi,

 

VMWare workstation has never been one of the supported version, although it can probably work quite well but that doesn’t mean we support it (Test & Validation). So when a customer reports an issue with that environment we will not investigate/troubleshoot.

For your lab, you can go Hyper-V as that is supported, alternative get a VMware EXSI v8.0 host which I think you can still get for free also.
