Hello!
Last month our Chief Customer Officer, Sean Cashin, provided some information on our upcoming dedicated user community. I’m excited to announce that BeyondTrust launched our new BeeKeepers community on Monday, September 16th!
Why BeeKeepers?
The name BeeKeepers was born from the idea to protect and secure privileged identities, along with the paths those identities follow in order to gain privilege, aka Paths to Privilege.
What does the BeeKeepers name mean to us?
Imagine a company’s data and secrets as the honey in a beehive. BeeKeepers take care of the hive, protecting the honey and honeybees, from predators the live to steal the honey, damaging and destroying the hive.
Now imagine you, BeyondTrust customers, IT Admins, SOC professionals, and CISOs are the BeeKeepers! And honeybees are identities – human and non-human – continuously travelling along their flight paths, the Paths to Privilege, collecting pollen and making more honey. BeeKeepers protect the honeybees’ path and continuously defend the hive from predators like individual and nation-state threat actors.
We’re very excited about our new customer community as it enables our teams and partners to interact with our customers, and for our customers to interact with each other, all in one place. It will be a curated experience providing a federated search across all BeyondTrust’s documentation, as well peer-to-peer forums for collaboration and innovation focused on BeyondTrust’s products. To date we have over 1450 members and over 700 topics and replies!
All the Best,
Devin Churchill

Technology Integrations
Expand Password Safe platform coverage with Custom Plugins
With the BeeKeepers Community now live, existing BeyondTrust customers and partners can expand Password Safe platform coverage beyond the list of default supported platforms found within the product. For a list of default supported platforms, click here.
BeeKeepers includes more than 25 community-supported Custom Plugins: Documentation, Source Code and pre-compiled plugins that can be quickly imported into a Password Safe Cloud or Password Safe instance. After import, a Custom Plugin can be used just like a default platform plugin. Examples include AWS, ServiceNow, Splunk, GitHub, CrowdStrike, and many others. Click here.
The Custom Plugins are community-supported, which means that unlike the default platform plugins, they are not covered under General Support, but as a Best Effort via BeeKeepers. So BeyondTrust customers and partners are encouraged to perform their own testing and validation in a test or Dev environment and submit any feedback about issues or wished for enhancements via BeeKeepers.
