Hi everyone, have any of you implemented High Availability using a proxy server, or worked with customers who have deployed this setup? If so, I’d appreciate hearing about your experience, challenges, and overall results.

Are you planning to put an “WinHTTP” proxy between your active and passive appliance?
When setting up a High Availability pair the active and passive appliances need communicate with each other on port 1433 and 5022 for MSSQL replication.
When configuring your proxy you should configure the proxy between the appliance and the internet and allow direct connections between the 2 appliances.
