I am curious to know whether it’s possible to extend/allow RDP session for more than 2 days. Concern team wants to perform a job and they might need to keep the session active for about 2 days at least. Is it something we can leverage from BI console? Please suggest.

Yes you can have a session open for 2 days. Just make sure the account you are using has a Max Release duration of over 2 days. Edit account in the Account Settings Section.
Also when checking out the account select over 2 days to the release duration.
You may also need to verify on the target server there is not a group policy limiting your sessions.
