I'm trying to manage AD accounts via Smart Rule, however, I select Directory Query and then when I select the domain nothing comes back, I've already added the domain in “Domain Management”, what else could it be?

Hi @rimeda201  Do you have the AD managed system onboarded?  Please refer to the following article for instructions:

How to setup and onboard Active Directory (AD) Managed System and AD accounts

Hope this helps,

Gloria

Hi @GloriaB, It worked! But I had to add the managed system manually, is it possible to scan Active Directory and have it come up as “Directory” instead of “Domain Controller”?

To see the domain under managed account smart rules, domain should be added as a managed system.

When you scan, In assets menu, you will see the domain controllers, not domain. Domain must be manually added as a managed system.

This question is unrelated to current topic, I would suggest to create a new topic.
