Hello,

is it possible to open several sessions with the same account on the same system?

We do have some admins, that need to be able to have have concurrent sessions on the same system.

As can be seen in the following screenshot, we cannot access a system with another session if a session is already active.

Thank you

Yes, Password Safe allows users to request concurrent session for a single managed account. You can configure the access policies to allow concurrent session and set concurrent session from the managed account settings or the managed account itself.

Hello Howard,

using the same session for one or more concurrent sessions on a system does work but the admins want to be able to work on one or more tickets simultaneously. That doesnt seem to be possible, since you cannot check out a second session with another ticket. Was not clear enough with my question, sorry.

Thanks for clarifying and I understand better now. Password Safe is session request designed and build with logical process and workflow. If the same user is requesting for same account on the same managed system and already has an existing session then logically he should be using that session.
