Hello,

We had an Active Directory account was managed (onboarded) and we don’t know how it got onboarded. Are there any reports or audit logs that can help to find out who or what smart rule did the onboard? Thanks,

Hi @AndyH,

To find the onboarding Smart Rule you will need to check the Advanced details of the Managed Account and then look at the Smart Groups.  The Smart Groups are named the same as the Smart Rules. Once you know the Smart Groups, you can check the Smart Rule Actions section for the Managed Account Settings option.  For more steps, refer to KB0019495.

Also user audits shows when a smart rule is added, edited, or deleted. Refer to KB0019116.

Hope this helps,

Gloria

@AndyH -- to show you what Gloria’s talking about, if you drill into “Go to Advanced Details...” of the Managed Account, the “Smart Groups” tab is what you’ll be looking for:

From there you can review the applied Smart Groups and try and isolate which of those smart rules might have onboarded that account.

Thank you!
