Hi ​@mitesh.nandu, I have not personally seen this issue but I wanted to chime in and suggest that since the Nutanix appliance image is only recently GA, it would be best to raise a case with support if you haven’t already.

Hi ​@Neil, we have raised support ticket.

But I’m wondering, before releasing OVA for Nutanix Platform engineering might have done testing on that. 

Having issue with that, boots but i have: “Keyword not supported: 'xvi;connection timeout'.”  and After the installation, on web console, i get error: Server Error in '/WebConsole' Application".
Did you had a solution for your problem?

Recently we had a problem using the R6 on our nutanix, we could only correct after using the R5, i believe the R6 is a broken image. 

Try the R5, it will make you life easy

​@Paulo144 I am using the R5, but having issue, it is build in with EPM, i don’t want to use EPM. Was it the case for you? ​@line Are you sure, you are using the R5? the only version i know of that has the EPM enabled is the R6 that we were using before, for us, we got erros on the Discovery and the Password Change something about the “Root element was missing”.

On the R5 we did not have the same error, but try to do something for me please, go to “C:\Appliance\Scripts” and run on a administrator powershell ISE the following file “UVMinit.ps1” this will rerun all the scripts necessary for the appliance to be able to work proprely on the Windows System, for us this script worked like a charm to correct some other issues on R6/R5 as well.

I believe that either the image is broken or Nutanix does not have the necessary requirements to wait till the appliance finishs running the init script and that make so some elements necessary are either missing or broken and that are causing a array of problems on theses images.

 

I don’t know if they changes the image, but i am using th R-5, see in the deployment wizard EPM is here, and give me error after install.

​@line i would disable the “EPM” on “Features Selection” step first, and then finish the Wizard, after that run the “UVMinit.ps1” and then enable the Role, that will probably allow you to finish the wizard without issues and then correct the EPM role before enabling it again.

​@Paulo144 EPM roles is disable in the selection. I don’t know why it appears here. I will try “the UVMinit.ps1” and let you know. The support is not responding to my case, since yesterday. Do you know why EPM is here, even if the .ova is not suppose to include it? Did you use the same R5 OVA?

​@line It was the same OVA, why the EPM is enabled on your side i would not know, but i would finish the wizard either way, run the “UVMinit” and expect the best.
