We are looking into a way to have Password Safe manage the local admin account for RS and PRA. Right now we have to set calendar items to remember to go in and reset the password to a new one. Has anyone come up with a good way to accomplish this? So far we are striking out. I would have thought Password Safe might have something native for the Beyond Trust products, but that does not seem to be the case. Looking for some insight.

Password Safe to manage PRA/RS local admin accounts

first, you must import the assets into Password Safe as a managed system and integrate the local accounts as managed accounts. Then, you can query the passwords via the API and make them available to the Endpoint Credential Manager.
Afterwards, the RS and PRA accounts and passwords are readable by the respective machines.

ECM does not have the capability to manage the default admin account of the SRA appliances. This feature is not present today and the best option you could have is to store the admin credentials to Password Safe - Secret Safe and rotate it manually.
