Regarding Beyond Insight Upgrade

Hello All,

 

We are planning for Beyond Trust Insight upgrade from older version of 23.2 to 24.X. Can someone help with stepwise documentation or any documents for this upgrade. 

What all preliminary activities needs to be done before upgrade and post upgrade activities?

The following KBs detail the processes for completing an on-prem BeyondInsight / Password Safe upgrade, however there are a few things to note before you begin the upgrade procedure:

  • Please ensure appropriate backups are taken prior to initiating the BeyondInsight / Password Safe upgrade.
  • It is recommended that you ensure you are up to date on SUPI updates prior to upgrading BeyondInsight / Password Safe.
  • Finally, it is also recommended that you verify the pre-requisites are met as detailed in the release notes prior to initiating the BeyondInsight / Password Safe upgrade.

Note that the upgrade procedure varies depending on your configuration (Active/Passive vs. Active/Active):

Hi ​@prasadp87  I would start by ensure the software updates are up to date.  Refer to What are SUPI updates? How to install Security Updates Packages
