Rest API endpoint available to Add/update Discovery scan credentials

Hello Team,

 

We are planning to implement automation in such way that there should not be any need to go into configuration page and create new credentials (for scan account) manually.

However, I would like to know do we have any automated way to create or update scan credentials (as it seems Rest API is not available).

    ​@prasadp87 Aside from API endpoints, the only way you could have automation is by using a Managed Account with the 'Scanner Enabled' flag checked. That way, as long as the account password is managed by Password Safe, any change made will automatically be reflected in the next scan.
     


    You could also use a browser macro via a custom app or a web extension, but that would require further research.

    *Some plataforms do not allow the usage of 'Scanner Enabled'.
