It seems like a simple task to achieve as many other platforms offer this. Just a simple email alert that a jump client went offline rather than having to login and check to see if your systems show online. Any ideas when this will happen or it did and I am missing something?
This may be something you would raise in the Ideas Portal, as it seems like a good idea. The link for the Ideas Portal is at the top of this Communities page. However, please bear in mind, a Jump Client may go ofline for any number of reasons...
However, if this were just a option, then some customers with thousands or tens of thousands of Jump Clients may end up being bombarded with emails with Jump Clients going offline/online all the time. Some sort of filtering would need to be implimented for something like this.
Hey Swvalenti!
It’s worth considering that our Configuration API offers the ability to search and retrieve information on Jump Clients, and return parameters such as last_connect_timestamp and last_disconnect_timestamp.
For more information on the Configuration API, I would recommend going into /login → Management → API Configuration, and click ‘View Configuration API Documentation’. Theoretically, you could build something which polls Jump Clients for these above values, and acts upon a change of those values.
Other than this however, in the product there is not currently anything other than what I suggested above within our Configuration API.
Thanks, i submitted this into ideas and it was marked “planned” but that was some time ago.

Exactly this.
Although it might be useful if you could tag a Jump Group / specific Jump Client with the option if for instance, you have high performance systems that are critical.
Question:- This is also with regards to the Jump Client offline issue, what could be possible reason why it has been went to offline?
We tried to wake up the Jump client in Desktop Rep, but it still getting failed. Could you someone please provide the resolution for this issue?

Hello Purushotham, If you are having a current issue issue with your Jump Clients being offline, I would recommend contacting our Suppor Team, as we would need to gather logs from the affected endpoint. Those logs may shed some light on why this is happening.
The reasons for a Jump Client being offline are quite numerous, hence getting logging going is a good step fowards.
