Hello,
I'm having trouble with the credential injection feature in the web jump section. It doesn't fill in and even selecting the options and looking at the documentation isn't working. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Hi Carlos,

I think you will have to add a Vault Account in PRA and when you try to connect to web app you you see in the vault account in drop down to inject in the web jumps.

Hello @Carlos Mendonça - The PRA Web Jump Credentials Injection feature is dependant on the remote web page itself both displaying and making visible the text boxes for the feature to inject into.

For instance, maybe the username and password boxes are actaully embedded inside other elements or iframes. Or maybe the those two boxes are loaded separately after the page itself fully loads. I have also seen it where the text boxes are programmatically created on the page far after the inital web page has loaded.

With all this in mind, can you advise on the website itself and check to see what is loaded in the HTML when you first load the site? Are the boxes all there on load or not?

Hello Phill,

I appreciate your position and feedback on the topic.

I checked the boxes in access and they are all there, what happens initially is when clicking on the key icon to inject the credentials automatically, it doesn't work. Another point I identified was that when registering a credential, the password is not encrypted and is visible to any other user with access to the tool in the Username Field and Password Field.

Hello @Carlos Mendonça - you mention ‘ was that when registering a credential, the password is not encrypted and is visible to any other user with access to the tool in the Username Field and Password Field.’ - there is no place on the Rep Console to display the password, it remains encrypted until it is injected - can you please outline what you are seeing exactly? Is the webpage itself not shielding the password field?
