If you create a discovery of endpoints, add them to a jump group, and the jump items are subsequenrtly deleted (for whatever reason), is there a way for them to reappear in a discovery scan?
At this time, there is not. You will need to recreate the endpoints. If they are jump clients, they will need to be re-deployed. If they are jump shortcuts, such as remote jump, RDP, ect, you can download the mass import form from /login → jump → jump items and fill out the details. Once filled out, import it in, and the shortcuts will reappear. You must use the codenames for jump groups, policies, ect and it must match it exactly as listed.
Check your jump item roles as well and make sure users in your group policies do not have a jump item role that allow deletion of endpoints unless they are admins. Deleting any shortcuts will remove them from all consoles. Jump item roles are located in /login → jump → jump item roles. It is located in group policies under Access permissions → jump technology → jump item roles.
Thanks for confirming. I’ve had to add them manually instead. Good to know anyway. Hopefully in the future, they can be rediscoverd if they are not present in any jump groups.

Hello LeeAtkinson, that sounds like a good item to log in the Ideas Portal!
