No update notification emails

Hello,

We have a BeyonTrust PRA OnPremise Virtual Machine (latest version). We have admin email configured in the /appliance settings, and test mails are successful. But we do not receive emails when a new version is available.

How can we be notified when there is an update available?

Hi Marcus, thanks for your post. Couple of things…

The appliance does not notify you of newly released software versions, but you can receive automatic notifications of this by subscribing to recive the release notes - https://www.beyondtrust.com/forms/changelog-subscription
You can also use the option in /appliance > Updates to check for updates. The appliance “phones home” and will show you avialable software. This requires a firewall rule to be in place.
You can manually check for updates using the appliance download key, https://docs.beyondtrust.com/pra/docs/on-prem-updates

Hello @MarcusH - those emails do not come from your appliance, as your appliance does not automatically check for new updates itself.
