PRA - Auto backup

Through this software, you can set a schedule to backup the PRA instance, and offload session data to keep them longer then 90days.

Another option is to use an automated script or application (like Ansible) to run commands against the BTPRA API (they have a specific API for backup commands) and retrieve the backup that way. Installing and using their Integration Client is quite a bit of work if you are only looking to do automated backups. Refer to https://docs.beyondtrust.com/pra/docs/backup-api for more info. 

Thank you ​@PhillC. I suspect this requires a separate windows box to install the integration software client? If so, I agree with ​@idontwanna , this will take a lot of effort.

Hello ​@SolB, I understand. However, any current auto-backup system would require an extra external server somewhere, as the appliance itself cannot run the auto-backup itself.

Maybe this can be raised as a feature request, in the Ideas Portal at the top of the screen, for something our teams here can look into.
