After Beyondtrust EPM Deployment Intune Enrolled devices stopped syncing

We are currently using BeyondTrust EPM for Windows and macOS under a cloud subscription.

On every device where the BT Agent and Adapter have been deployed, the devices stopped reporting back to Intune and the sync services are no longer functioning.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? We would greatly appreciate input from anyone who has faced a similar situation and can share guidance on resolving it as soon as possible.

@meetmrsaha I have not personally seen this issue, but based on your description it may be policy related. Have you tested with a blank EPM policy to confirm whether Intune syncing works? (Ref: KB0017276). This will first confirm whether we need to dive deeper into policy configuration.

If so, one thing to spot check is whether you have any workstyles applied to SYSTEM? If so, we’d want to make sure the correct token is being applied (“Keep Privilege - Enhanced”). Other tokens may be providing less than required permissions.

Thank you!
