Hi All,

We have heard your feedback and have merged the individual Windows and Mac sub-sections into one new combined Windows & MacOS sub-section. We have also created a few new Tags as well to help you classify your post.

New Tags: Windows, MacOS, Windows & MacOS

Thank you all for the feedback!

I personally liked them being different sections. As the community grows there will be increased chatter between the different types of EPM. Ideally breaking them down based on OS helps to keep the discussion relevant to those systems.

Mac rules are different than Windows rules in Policy editor and what works in 1 OS system isn’t always the case for the others. Just my 2 cents :)

Great , will able to learn and see different cases over Mac as well.

Hey @MikeK, that is definitely true, there are conversations that will have to be OS specific - my hope is that we will be able to solve that through good tagging and hygiene :)

One of the problems of the split was that it made it hard to talk about OS agnostic features, for example about the JIT functionality that has been released or the upcoming policy diff in the policy editor. I think further splits to address specific components would be confusing and cross posting becomes a bit messy too.

We will monitor the impact and can always change back if needed :)

@James Allan - yeah, I can see that. I guess from my point of view you would post at the parent level of EPM to have those types of discussions and not the sub-categories 🙂 I know the system is new and we will all collectively figure out the best way to do things 😁

As someone who does not support macs in my environment, I’d hope an OS filter could be used so I don’t need to wade through the mac posts.
