EPM Workstyle template (shared by BT) which has Audit Scripting/Rule scripting is executing successfully only once

We have a EPM workstyle dedicated to the service desk, which takes effect at the start of Beyond Trust remote session. This makes use of Audit scripting / Rule scripting to sense the initiation of the session and change the effective workstyle until the session completes. During the session, support technician is able to elevate the application through Prompt.

We have observed that this script provided by BT for this use case is executing the rule only once, when another application is open during the same session, the end user workstyle (Medium Flexibility prompt) is getting applied and application is not elevated.

Please let us know, how to fix this.

This is difficult to answer from the information provided.

Workstyles are applied to users when the filters of that workstyle matches.
Once there Audit/Rule Scripts applied to Application Rules they would launch once when hitting that rule, and it should execute every time you hit the same rule for that workstyle.

Unless you script does something that makes the user “fall out” of that workstyle.

If you provide some more information I might be able to provide a better answer.

The rules script which provided by Beyond trust hits once, while the remote session has been taken by Remote engineer. later that it was not hitting.

While if we initially import that policy, it was hitting correctly for 12hr.

OK. it is difficult to say without knowing the script and your policy design and how it is suppose to apply.

I would suggest raising a ticket with BeyondTrust support as I would not recommend sharing policies here.

Kind regards
