Good morning -- I have our Client & Adapter updates enabled in our environment and it should be updating the clients to the latest version of both the adapter and the client. However, my client has stayed on version 24.5.2.3 when 24.7.0.1 is available.

In the update section, it does see we have two devices “awaiting update”.  Am I missing something or isn’t this suppose to occur when the machine checks in?   The machine is online and the console see that it last spoke about 30 minutes ago.  Have I misunderstood and or misconfigured something? I’m new to the management space on the EMPfM side so forgive my slowness.

assuming you have the package manager installed on the endpoints.

So perhaps I don't -- Here’s what I deployed to our couple of endpoints we are testing with.

Do I also need to deploy the package manager as well ?

package manager is the mechanism that checks in to the console to see if updates to the endpoint are needed. You can be used on existing systems and can be installed by itself on new systems and it will then install the client and adapter once it checks in for the first time.

Looks like I already had package manager installed.  '/Library/Application Support/Avecto/iC3Adapter/config.plist' has install date from October ‘24.

I didn’t however find the /Applications/BeyondTrust folder so instead of the script, I downloaded the pkg itself and installed this.  I now see the /Applications/BeyondTrust folder. Guess I will add this to our policy along with the other BT installers.  During the time I wrote this, I see my machine updated

I would raise a ticket with BT support. I think there was some release notes with an issues of updating the Client and Adapter.
