Hi all -- MS released an update for Autopilot (2508) and since then, we are seeing our builds crash. If we remove EPMfW, build completes successfully. Is anyone else seeing this?  We just started seeing this on Monday, Aug. 25

We will review KB0022723 just interesting we are only seeing this now, not back in July.

I started seeing this issue earlier this year around march timeframe when we started building out Autopilot… we ended up having to install EPM immediately after AP runs, as this was the only way we could ensure a success… we can install Package Manager just fine during AP process, but the client and adapter cause a failure, both were tested together and then independently…

not sure if that will help for you, but figured I would toss it out there.

Yes, so this is something I had considered. Sorta defeats the point of the autopilot process however :-)

We have found if we include all three steps in that KB it seems to install and load autopilot, but I won’t be surprised if that breaks or is not consistent. Sadly, inconsistency seems to be the name of the game for EPMfW at least.

Hi MichaelD

I think you should take a look on this post, I think it contains the needed information to get this resolved.

Kind regards
Jens
