How to get the complete list of supported platforms for beyondtrust passwordsafe?

what we see is in few versions the platforms that were listed are removed in the newer ones does that mean its not supported? Also If we have to get the complete list how do we get which is supported and which are not supported.

@MichelB posted this about 4 months ago under Tech Alliances and Integrations, so they might be able to provide a better answer than me 🙂Password Safe Custom Plugins | Community

And I do know the list from the documentation site tends to be kept up to date for the most part.

The challenge with updated website is we do not get the PDF documents. Moreover, we do not get the list of supported platforms in pdf format.

Hi @naidu_jsts ,

Here is a list of out of box supported platforms:

https://docs.beyondtrust.com/bips/docs/ps-supported-platforms

This does not have all the supported platforms, if you see version to version there are some missing and some are added. What are the status of the missing? does that mean not supported of those which are removed. so need a consolidated one where what all are supported and what are not supported.

@droache - I think an improvement to this could be made. if it was turned into a table I think this would give customers a better idea of when their integrations fall out of support and be able to track what version they discontinued being supported.

Integration Supported (Y/N) Version
App1 Y v24.22
App2 N V24.21

Reason for this suggestion, it gives customers a quick overview of the various integrations they may have

Hi @droache - How to get the version of supported platform like Windows Server version or different Linux (Red Hat/ Suse/ CentOS) Versions?

@Saif Imam BeyondTrust only test software that are supported by the vendor. If the software is not supported by the vendor, due to end of support or end of life, we can not guarantee it will work. Also for security purposes, it is recommend to upgrade software and install patches.

Can operating systems or devices that are not listed in the Supported Platforms list still be managed by Password Safe?

RDP connections in Password Safe fail to Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, or 2012 R2 systems
